America is in a crisis of drug addiction. Drug addiction steals the souls of the addicted and breaks the heart's of the one's who love them. From street level crack to high end prescription drugs such as Oxycontin America is under attack.
While America tries to solve the world's issues it can not even coupe with it's on. Any given day in any given city drugs are every where taking over the mind's of the users and leading America into a crisis mode much like a third world country. In the 1980's America declared war on drugs and lost now in 2009 with the health care issue being push through congress drug companies are in control pushing their cure alls on society.
Much of the drugs which are produced by the multi-billion dollar companies are the one's you find on the streets of America today. These same companies have even convinced parents that their own children need drugs to behave. America is close to giving it's own soul to a government determined to control the very mind's of it's citizen with drugs. Addiction can happen to anyone and Americans need not label the addicted as lost causes.
Compassion for the addicted is necessary. However, compassion for the drug dealers is not necessary. Laws to prevent drug dealing must be changed. If you are convicted of dealing powerful addictive drugs you should have your hand cut off this would send the message to future dealers that America is tried of the infliction you are causing on society.
As for the big drug companies who produce the drugs fines should be imposed on them for every drug that ends up on the street. Once America gets serious with the drug issue and the addiction it causes the problem can be brought under control. Unfortunately examples must be set because it is clear the methods used now do not work. America has to many mother and father less children for it to maintain itself as a world leader in the future. Posse up now America or the future will be an addicted nation out of control.
