Voting Question: No longer need my Hybrid?

I recently moved from Riverside, CA to Birmingham, AL. Before I moved I definately noticed how much I was saving with the Hybrid, but now that I moved it seems like I'm at the gas station just as much as my wifes car. Hybrids were meant for stop and go traffic and I'm finding myself more on the highways so I'm thinking maybe I should get something different. Here's my question, Should I try trading in at the dealership or do a private sale? Car: 2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid Miles: 20k Owe: 17k Also... Do you think I'll have a better selling price here in Alabama since they dont sell them here?(think they sell in only 2 states) I went to the Nissan dealership for an oil change and all the mechanics came out to take a look at the car since they said its the first one they seen lol....
