Open Question: Are Caucasian Guys Attracted to Black Women?

I am a sophomore at the University of Alabama- Birmingham, and I have seen some very attractive Caucasian men. However, I notice that none of them ever really try to date black women, not to say that I don't have cordial conversation with some. Also, I've heard guys say things like "Man, she's hot" as I've left the elevator, but they never approach.
